Minutes for a cause 2022

Back in September 2020 when the pandemic restrictions were very strict, something happened internally in Clariba! Check it out!

The first edition of the Minutes for a Cause had a huge success, and a year later we are launching a new edition! This time, the challenge is greater: all the offices are involved!

But… what is this year’s challenge? The goal of this social initiative is to collect 30.000 minutes of Clariba’s team physical activity. Once we reached the 30.000 minutes, Clariba will make a donation to an interesting charity project: Child Heroes NGO and their Future Game initiative in Sierra Leona.

What is the Future Game about?

Children from Sierra Leone learn basic notions of welding, carpentry, recycling, and design to build children playgrounds. They are between 15 and 19 years old rescued from the streets due to many circumstances.

The two objectives of the project are the socio-labour reintegration of young people at risk of social exclusion through training in a welding workshop; and to bring children playgrounds to the most vulnerable areas.

Check their video where they explain Child Heroes NGO- Future Game  project.

Why we are doing this?

At Clariba, we believe that our role as persons is so much more than just our working role. We are tech people who look out for our community. This is one of our values as a company and one that we are all proud of.

We understand our role and responsibility in an integral society and we enjoy and are happy to have the opportunity to add a grain of sand to generate a change for someone.

Who will be the colleague who collects more minutes and contributes the most to the donation?

During the first weeks, we are almost 40% of the goal! Thanks to the participants from all the offices! Indeed, a special mention to minutes collected from a colleague in Canada during a mountain walk with a temperature of -20 degrees Celsius!

Stay tuned for more updates!
